ID in Analytics V4?

    Hello,

    Hello,
    I would like you to test your plugin but I have a doubt about the Analytics ID;

    For my other sites the ID looked like “UA-1234567-89” or “G-123ABC789” but for this site the ID is like: “253872012”. Are these the new IDs in V4?

    First of all so sorry for late reply.

    For GA4
    No Property ID is not what require to be added in plugin settings.
    You need to Create Measurement ID for your Property.

    Follow steps below to create one:-

    1. Go to settings of your property in Google Analytics Account

    2. Click on Data streams link.

    3. If you have already created a Web Stream for your website it will be there or you need to add a new Web Stream there. Where you need to put your website url and stream name to identify it.

    4. Once you have Web Stream on your property click on it. So we get all information and settings associated with your Web Stream. In top-right corner you will find your Measurement ID. It will similar to this pattern G-XXXXXXXXXXX.

    5. Add this Measurement ID in your Plugin settings and hit submit to save it.

    Now plugin will start transferring data to Google Analytics for V4.
