id number help

  • Okay, that is weird, my post didn’t even show.

    Anyways, I am looking to change, that if I create a new page, that the url doesn’t show an id: like say page: mysite.com/?page_id=18. I want it to say whatever name of the page I want.

    I don’t know if you understand what I am saying. But, I see a lot of word press sites out there that are powered by word press and don’t have those id numbers showing. Thanks.

  • It’s under the Options tab. I forget the exact path, but there’s a list with options on how you want your permalinks to show.

    (In fact, it might even be under a “Permalinks” tab.)
