• I tried this plugin for about 4 minutes and decided there were better more convenient ways to do this. I went to uninstall the plugin – which went successfully. Then When I go to WooCommerce -> Settings -> Email Tab — and the giant vibrant blue buttons are still there for emailkit. I have no idea what other bits and pieces the developer decided to leave lingering on the WP Admin area after plugin deactivation and removal, but this shouldn’t be an acceptable practice.

When somebody removes a plugin – it should be removed. No games or gimmicks that get people to reinstall it with a simple click of the mouse when in the WP Admin area (which is exactly what happens if you accidently click the oversized buttons). I should also note there isn’t 1 button. THERE IS 14 of them!!!!!

That’s right — 14 BUTTONS – 1 for each of the default WooCommerce email templates pre-defined – and i have no way of removing them by myself without risking database operations i’m not qualified to be doing.

    Hi?mjb219936?,

I apologize for the inconvenience you experienced with the EmailKit plugin. I want to clarify that if you have any other Wpmet plugins installed on your site, you’ll notice a blue button within the WooCommerce -> Settings -> Email Tab. This button is there for promotional purposes, as EmailKit is a new and promising product from Wpmet. We believe it’s important to inform our users about it. However, if you’d prefer not to see these promotional features, all Wpmet plugins include an option to disable them. You can refer to this video for instructions on how to do that.

However, we’re a bit disappointed that you didn’t create a support thread to address this issue before leaving a review. We always prioritize resolving our users’ concerns, and no support thread goes unnoticed. It’s unfortunate that you rated us one star without first reaching out to us, as such a review can significantly impact our reputation.

We hope you will reconsider your review. We’re here to assist you and value your cooperation.

    Regards,
    Amir

Wow! Your answer is that you DELIBERATELY install this crap and make it hard to remove in order to promote your products. And the unwary website owner has to find your video in order to figure out how to get rid of it?

Ho-lee doo-doo! This is not acceptable behavior. WordPress is a huge universe, and your video is just another teeny Higgs Boson floating somewhere off in the ether.

Watch and see whether I ever install something from you.

    Hi insi1000,

I hope you’re doing well. In WordPress, every plugin has its own way of promoting products, and ours is no different. We provide an option within the plugin to limit these promotions. Many users have successfully disabled this feature on their own. For those who need assistance, they usually contact us through the WordPress support thread or our support forum, and we guide them on how to resolve the issue. Rest assured, we’re committed to making this process even more user-friendly in the near future.

    Regards,
    Amir

    Hi insi1000,

I hope you’re doing well. I’m pleased to inform you that we have made an update to the WooCommerce settings. The “Edit with EmailKit” button has been removed from the WooCommerce Email Settings. Instead, a banner has been added at the top of the page with cancel option. If you are using any of our plugin, Elementskit, Metform and Shopengine please update those plugin.

We kindly request that you reconsider your review of the plugin. As EmailKit is a new product from Wpmet, a one-star review can significantly affect its visibility in the WordPress plugin search algorithm and impact our reputation.

We value your cooperation and are here to assist you with any concerns or questions you may have.

    Regards,
    Amir

Amir asked me to change my review. It appears that the system isn’t allowing me to do that. However, if the issue has been resolved, then my review is no longer relevant, and the plugin should be considered on its present merits.

@insi1000 Please do not jump into other people’s topics with your own issues. Your review, which you glommed on to someone else’s, is abusive. You have no review of your own. If you’d like to create a new one, please do so.
