Idea Push or Ticketing System?
-
Idea push is really cool, but it currently feels like an internal support ticketing system rather than a voting system for listening to what users think and want.
It comes with the following default status names:
open, reviewed, approved, declined, in progress, completedChanging a status of a post to anything different than ‘open’ removes it from the main page / main view. Why?
I think it’s important that users that voted for a post should always see it (except maybe for ‘done’ and ‘declined/deleted’). Seeing that something they voted on is in progress is great. Why hide that?
And even Done would be important to see, so they don’t repeat their questions.I know that the statuses can be renamed, but just the idea of how they are named by default really sounds like a ticketing system.
