Ideas for Improvement on new theme

  • A new theme I made for the Christmas season.

    Okay, I find something odd and missing about this theme but I just can’t figure it out myself. Would appreciated it with anyone can point out any improvements I can make to it.

    The headers looks weird to me. I was thinking of placing the time, date and stuff at the top below the post title but haven not yet figure out how to go about fixing up the comment links. Any ideas?

    The layout top image, too plain? or…?

    I was also thinking of adding a 3 column thing right at the bottom with the recent comments, recent posts and random links. Would a plain background looks better on top of the footer? or would a designed curve box looks better?
