“Identical event ID received” FB Warning
-
Hello,
I have the Woocommerce Set-Up enabled and the Default E-Commerce events Purchase, InitiateCheckout, AddToCart and ViewContent also enabled. These events used to receive data “correctly” from both the navigator and the server side until this morning. I received today a warning from FB for the Purchase and AddToCart events saying:
“Identical event ID received for multiple event instances.
You send the same event ID for multiple instances of your AddToCart events. Event IDs are unique identifiers used to deduplicate identical events received from your pixel and the Conversions API so that they are not double-counted. In order for Facebook to accurately count your events, each unique event instance requires its own Event ID.”
When I go on AddTocart details > Event Deduplication I have:
1 problem detected:
Event ID: Pixel 100% / CAPI 100% / Overlap 40%On Purchase details > Event Deduplication:
1 problem detected:
Event ID: Pixel 100% / CAPI 100% / Overlap 50%
Order ID: Pixel 100% / CAPI 100% / Overlap 50%Are these real problems? If yes, please, let me know how to solve them.
I also have another problems related to Custom Events that were automatically set up (another topic), but I don’t think these problems are related.
Thank you in advance!
