Pages/Posts not updating when I log out of admin

  • My pages display fine when I am logged in as admin mode when I publish them, or add custom css.

    Once I log out the pages show old versions of data, as if its rolling back to last weeks posts.

    My footer is showing outdated stuff that I manually updated myself in the footer.php file and uploaded and overwrited on my FTP.

    The footer displays the updated stuff until I log out of admin….

    No idea what is going on

    I am also using custom php templates manually via notepad editor and uploading via ftp, these changes show straight away when logged in as admin, but as soon as i log out it shows the older pages again… i have no idea how this is possible as the old pages code have been overwritten.
