“Identifier_exists” is still “no” after adding GTIN and Brand field

    Hello,

    I am experiencing a problem with Google feed template. I want to add GTIN (EAN) info to products because of Google Merchants. I use Rank Math SEO plugin to add GTIN number to products. For Brand field I use Product variable.

    For test purpose I have add GTIN to the first product on top of the XML.

    Do you know what the problem might be?

    Thanks for reaching us,

    It seems that you are experiencing an issue where the identifier is appearing “no” in your feed even after the GTIN and Brand have values. Please be aware that the custom attribute you are using for GTIN, which comes from the Rank Math plugin, is either a custom attribute or a post meta. This type of attribute cannot be recognized by the free version of CTX Feed. Therefore, it is not possible to change the identifier_exists value conditionally, as it is not recognized by CTX Feed Free.

    thank you for the reply. Does it mean I can solve the problem by getting the Pro version? Is there any specific configuration I should do to set it correctly?

    Thanks for your understanding.

    Yes. No specific configuration is required if the brand value is handled by product attribute and the GTIN is handled from the Rank Math plugin.
