    Hi,
the plugin is telling users who try to leave me a comment that it is spam, so they think their message didn’t get through – and try again, or use a subscription form to get in touch. I end up with valid comments in my spam box – which I then retrieve and reply to. It is annoying and not ideal. Any idea why this is happening? Emails addresses vary, e.g. hotmail.com, gmail.com, mac.com, sky.com, aol.com. Thanks

    Hi @antya63
You are using Jetpack plugin for your comments.
Unfortunately Anti-Spam plugin is not compatible with Jetpack.
You can use one plugin or another – but not both.
    Kind regards,
    Webvitaly

Hi, thanks for responding so quickly. I have Jetpack basic, not the Akismet anti-spam paid module, so I thought I needed comment spam protection as a separate plugin. Is that not the case? Please advise.
    Thanks again for your time.
P.S. 523 spam comments blocked by your plug-in, suggests it’s working.

Unfortunately Anti-Spam plugin does not work with Jetpack basic at all.
You need to find an alternative to work with Jetpack.
