  • Hi,

Can you give me more details regarding what are you trying to achieve?

Are you trying to restrict content based on user role?

    Yes, 2 questions:

    1. If I want to show content based on role, where content1 goes to role1 , role2 and content2 goes to whoever has no role or is not role1 , role2 – possible?

    2. Is there any solution to embed a captcha/reCaptcha field in the Profile Builder forms (login, registration) exept buing the pro version , and if the only solution is the pro version, which one of them?
I installed a reCaptcha plugin but it gives me nothing because I cannot use it in the forms and when I activate it to work on the default WP forms, I cannot use the Profile Builder forms, it expects a reCaptcha input….

    Thanks.

    Hi,

If you want to restrict content based on user role you could try a free plugin called Members. With this plugin you can create user roles also.

The Hobbyist and the Pro version have Extra Fields Types including the reCAPTCHA field.

If you want to use the captcha field my suggestion would be to use this plugin Captcha by BestWebSoft which is compatible with Profile Builder. You just install and activate it and you will see the captcha field on PB’s forms.

If you want to build a membership website and to restrict content based on membership plan you could take a look at this plugin Paid Member Subscriptions.

    Hi,

Thank you for your answer, I have the Members installed , and the Captcha plugin you recommend but – I see no captcha field in the PB forms or any option to insert them. If I activate the plugin and check the default WP forms, on the PB forms I see no captcha field and get an error on sending the forms that I have no captcha valid field. The site is built and closed….the only remaining thing to do is to insert the captcha.
It seems to me that the option of the PB Hobbyist version is probably the best solution right now.

    Thanks.

    Hi,

The Captcha plugin should work because I tested it on my testserver.

You install and activate the Captcha plugin and then go to
BWS Plugins -> Captcha -> Enable CAPTCHA for: Select all the forms. Then scroll down until you see Arithmetic actions and Complexity and select all of the checkboxes.

If you decide to purchase the Hobbyist version please submit a ticket in case you encounter any other issues.

I will mark this post as resolved.
