Idiots Guide to Starting Up

  • I’ve had an install of the latest WordPress (1.5.1 ?) done for me by DreamHost. Lots of likely looking files have turned up in a wordpress directory under my domain, but I get errors when I launch any of the php pages. The “wordpress/index.php” gives me errors concerning missing files.

    If I have a successful install – which is the normal wordpress launch page ?
    This is my first WordPress install – do I have the same bug reported by podz and johnnycannuk ?
