    Hi Folks,

    I have a bit of a problem.

I am new to WordPress, hence the problem could be not that complicated but I can’t figure out how to solve it.

I am setting up a theme for one of my clients, based on the Magazeen template (big shouts to Function & Smashing Mag) and I came accross a problem with displaying posts in IE 7 and 6 I believe.

    If you visit website:

    https://ed-marketing.com/netscribe/?p=72

and few other articles, you would notice that in IE the post is not complete. It cuts it in the middle for some reason.

I am sure I have done something wrong, could you have a look at the page, and maybe suggest me couple of things on how I could approach this problem?

    That would be great,

    Thanks in advance,

    Regards,

    Michael

    Hi

You have committed one of the most common errors in WordPress posting – pasting directly from MS Word or Outlook. Do a View Source on the troublesome page and you will see reams of MS formatting code in your post. Ironically enough Firefox filters this out and displays the page correctly, while IE chokes on displaying code created by Microsoft.

The solution is use the Paste from Word button, which is on line two of the editor toolbar. As you are new to WP, if you haven’t found this yet, the last button on the right on the 1st row of toolbar buttons, when clicked, opens up a 2nd row of buttons. The Paste from Word button has a W on it.
