    Hey,
    just had a question,
    my website: https://www.hahmed.com/blog
works fine in firefox, but appears messed up under IE. For some reason, the header and footer parts arent in line with the main body, and the sidebar section appears below the main body instead of on the side.

Whats wrong? How do i fix this? I know IE sucks and firefox is much better but unfortunately 2/3 of my site’s visitors use IE.

    thanks in advance,
    h. ahmed

    Hi,
I hear ya! IE is just a piece of crap. I have the same problem since I tuned my theme a little. Actually I never looked at it with IE and then found out by accident. If you want to check it out go to https://www.hesspoint.com. But actually it is not the worst part that IE is not capable of interpreting CSS right, but it also is not able to display PNG transparency. It is just pathetic.
But hey, there is a bright side: Check out the “Too cool for IE” site @ https://www.w3junkies.com/toocool/index.php?language=en and put one of their little buttons on your blog as I did. Show everyone what you think of IE!

Before starting a new thread you should alwasy start with a search. For one of your issues, searching on terms similar to “sidebar drops” or “sidebar below content” will give you plenty of reasons and solutions.

As an aside, it is your blog. If you think IE is crap (which it is) then I would suggest you have a duty to educate your visitors about the dangers of coprophagy (itself a symptom of insanity) and not provide content which goes good with Crap (IE).

Sorry to make this become slightly off topic hahmed – I do have exactly the same problem though. I feel compelled to respond to Beel. I hear ya, and I back ya! However, how exactly do we educate our visitors if it doesn’t display the page for them to read about it? ??
