• anyone who likes a challenge is begged to help.
my theme for https://www.iblather.com works absolutely fine in Safari, Opera, and Firefox, and in IE for Windows.
However, IE for Mac beats it with an ugly stick, and I don’t know why. Enough of my readers use IE for Mac for that to be a problem for me.
If anyone would like to help me, I would be greatly appreciative. You can use the “View Source” command, obviously, but if you need code snippets I’ll be happy to provide them.

The real problem with Mac IE is that it was discontinued three years ago and support was officially ended last year. I don’t have any copies of Mac IE lying around to test your site, but I know that it has endless rendering problems, particularly with CSS. If I were you, I’d beg them all to switch to Safari or FireFox.
Beyond that, there are a few XHTML errors and one CSS error in your design. Cleaning them up may help.

    Thanks for taking a look.
The XHTML errors are minor, nothing that would cause this kind of breakage. Some are silly – most are from MT-imported posts or bits of code from outside resources (flickr, audioblog, etc). All are negligible, though I should remove the Valid XHTML link if I don’t plan to be a nazi about XHTML validity.
The CSS error, too, was nothing: the offending line was removed without problem.
I think that I will use this as an opportunity to fuel my long-standing hate of all things Internet Explorer. Mac IE is on its way out anyway… I hope. Maybe I’ll put a “best viewed in any number of browsers that aren’t bloated with useless code and too elitist to adapt to changing technologies that don’t happen to show a high profit margin” badge or something.
    Thanks, anyway.

Hey, I like the sound of that badge. ^_^ Let me know when you finish it.
