    Hi,
    I have a strange problem.
I have to separate WP installations with same setup of widgets and theme: webosblog.eu/se/ (Swedish version) and webosblog.eu/en/ (English version)

    Both where running WP 3.2.1

The Swedish version started having problems loading header/widgets on IE but was running fine on Google Chrome.

The English version still loads fine even on IE.

To try and resolve I updated Swedish version to 3.3 – still not working.
I have read about problems related to Twitter widgets so I disabled my Twitter widget and emptied caches – still not working.

    Any advice would be appreciated.

  • Have you tried:

    – deactivating all plugins to see if this resolves the problem. If this works, re-activate the plugins one by one until you find the problematic plugin(s).

    – switching to the Twenty Eleven theme to rule out any theme-specific problems.

resetting the plugins folder by FTP or PhpMyAdmin. Sometimes, an apparently inactive plugin can still cause problems.

    – re-uploading the wp-admin and wp-includes folders from a fresh download of WordPress.

    Thanks esmi,

I already did step 1 and 2 above before posting. Strangely overnight things are working again, I guess the issue was with the server and that the hosting company made som maintenance during night.

    Have a great day!
