i.e. problem with blockquotes

I’ve got a new i.e. problem where the text after the first blockquote doesn’t align with the previous text. After a few lines, the text on my site becomes unreadable. The site is: https://www.raincityguide.com

Here’s my observations:
1) The problem only occures in i.e on a PC. (Firefox for PC/Mac, and i.e. for Mac don’t have this problem)
2) Both my code and my css files validate
3) My guess is that something in my blockquote is messed up. Here is my blockquote text from my css file:

border-left: 5px solid #990000;
margin: 1em 0;
padding: 8px;
background: #CCCCCC;
}

Do you have any ideas?
