    Hi,

I use a lightly modified Kubrick theme and have just noticed an odd problem in IE: the main column seems to be at a diagonal so that text gradually slides out of sight to the left.

I also note that repeated reloading in IE seemed to improve it, but made seemingly random line indents.

    All OK in Firefox, btw.

I’m sure the problem lies with some width values I’ve changed, but I’m not sure where to start.

    Advice much appreciated.

I’ve looked at other suggestions for similar problems, e.g. https://www.positioniseverything.net/explorer/floatIndent.html and various alignment and padding ideas in this support forum, but none have made any difference to my own problem.

What makes the problem different is the gradual move of the content to the left as you go down the page. That seems hard to explain in my CSS.

Reloading the page often fixes the basic readability of the content, but will introduce seemingly random indents, as I mentioned before.

    Anyone up for the challenge?

    No takers, I guess.

Solved the problem. IE-unfriendly padding in the block quotes. I reverted to the Kubrick default block quote and all is well.

    Case closed.
