• Hello,

Thanks to the help I received here, I was able to stretch my Kubrick theme to 850px. In IE, everything fits together great. But in other browsers, the header looks like a disaster.

Anyone have any ideas? Thank you!

  • The best thing to do when tweaking html/php and css is make it look right in a standards-compliant browser (Firefox is usually the best choice), THEN do whatever tweaks you have to do to “feed the beast” that is IE….

It looks great to me in Firefox. What’s the problem?

You do have a lot of validation errors though (73).

I think I got it figured out. I guess I had to edit the header.php file, too.

vkaryl — I was surprised to see the IE was able to show the image correctly while the other ones couldn’t.

    thank you for your help!

the only other thing i want to do is move my personalheader up/down 3 pixels…

In IE, the header is about two pixels too high, in Firefox it is about three pixels too low.

anyone know where to find that?

    Hey guys,

I still can’t figure out why the header is a few pixels higher in IE than in other browsers. Anyone know what I might be missing?

    Thanks!
