IE6, CSS and the Background on my Kubrick Default
-
Hello Chaps,
I hate posting things that arent explicitly related to wordpress on here but I havent a clue what is causing this, so I need a bit of a hand.
I am using the default wordpress theme and have modified it to do my bidding. Recently, I’ve been converting all my old tables into standards based css (one hell of an arduous process because I am still very amateur at it and not comfortable with the differences between margin, padding and positioning and then their cross overs in turns of browser compatibility).
On my index, I’ve added more code between where the header is called and where the narrowcolumn div begins. Now that I’ve done this, when I hop on over into IE6, the whole background whitespace of the column has been shifted to the right, and the images and the content that I have added are left floating in space, edging off of the page.
Any ideas? Is this Kubrick or is this me?
