• I’m having the same problem with 3 seperate 2.5 installations (one an upgrade, one fresh) and on two different computers running IE7. Fine in Firefox, Safari and IE6 (bizarrely).

Was having the typical upload problems – resolved by these fixes: Topic: 164999

But the main problem for me is that the popup modal window is appearing at the bottom of the viewport, with 1/3 of the bottom of it cut off by the bottom of the window. IE6/FF/Safari show it perfectly centered, but IE7 it’s cut-off and practically unuseable.

To add more confusion to the matter – it displays fine on the standalone version of IE7 that I run on this PC. I think the standalone I have is a pretty old build, so it could be a recent IE7 version causing the problem.

Is almost definitely a problem with the Thickbox used, and have seen a few reports of similar instances: see here

Anyone know of a fix? Better yet, anyone else got the same problem?

Bumping because it sat in moderation for hours and never got seen.

I can confirm this. Tested on 2 different computers as well.

I am having the same problem with 2.5 in IE7.
Hope we get a reply soon.

What’s your problem? The media-popup in the posteditor admin page -or- the Thickbox display problem?

In any way I suggest you clear the cache, close all tabs, clear the cache again. Close IE. Run that tool that clears the cache of IE completely (needs a reboot on windows). Reboot your system. Try again.

I’m pretty sure this is a cache issue of your browser and not a wordpress problem.

I would have said the same, but this is happening on vanilla fresh installs, on multiple computers.

To answer your question, it’s the media popup in the post editor admin page. I’m not using Thickbox to display images on the front end.

This is happening on one of my computers, not on another. Both are using IE7. Clearing cache, closing tabs, rebooting, nor standing on my hand makes the entire media window. It is only visible if I “zoom out” to 50%. Even at 50% the bottom of the box is not visible, but at least I have access to the buttons I need to use.

I am not using Thickbox either.

I am having this same problem. I did a recent update to WordPress 5.2 and the insert media window is at the bottom of the window so I can not get the buttons to submit the picture I want to insert. For now a talk Internet Explorer to show the page at 50% and I was able to see the buttons and proceed.

We know this was working fine in the previous release. This feature, by the way is just GREAT.

Does anyone have a solution to this yet? We just created a few more posts on a number of machines and the problem is getting quite annoying.

Since there seems to be no replies to this is it possible some has a fix and I have not been able to find it in the forums?

    Please help.

Hello, I have also the problem of the popup on the bottom, any news?
