ieee Style Numbers Repeating in Display

  • Hi,

    I am using ZotPress to display an entire library using “ieee-with-url” style as default and in shortcode:

    [zotpress style=”ieee-with-url” sortby=”year” order=”desc’]

    The numbers appear correct (incremental) when I look at it on MacBook using Chrome and Safari (on regular and incognito/private). But when other users try to access the page, the number appears as [1] repeating for all 42 citations. The same happens when I try to access the page using Chrome and Safari from my iPhone. I noticed that the plugin loads completely while I’m accessing the page from my computer (no one else’s), but the gear circle continues to spin at the end of my citations like it’s still trying to load more on my phone and other people’s browsers. After a lot of solution searching and many revisions, I’m at wit’s end with what I should do next.

    I think there may be a bug with ZotPress and the Customify theme? I don’t know, looking for any solution please!

    I am using Zotpress version 7.2.

    I’m getting a 403 forbidden error for WP Ajax. If it’s not open to visitors (public users), then I can’t guarantee that Zotpress will work properly …

    Do I need to do something on my end to clear the 403 error? I’m not getting this error when accessing incognito mode or on a separate device.

    I’m sorry but I don’t know. This is an odd one. Maybe you have some security setting that doesn’t let same/similar ajax requests run twice, since the first one goes through but the second doesn’t. Maybe you can work with your server admins on this one. Good luck!
