If a pending change exists, cancel that first, then use this plugin
-
Initially I thought this plugin was not working. Before installing the plugin, had tried to change the admin password, the default email for the notification was not getting to my client(not tech savvy), but they own the site…
There was still a pending change when I installed this plugin. <- key thing for 2021
I tried to change the email after activating the plugin, it failed repeatedly.
Then I read the 1 star reviews here and saw others claiming it did not work.
But I went back and canceled the change of email that was pending….
Then I tried to change the email with this plugin still activated and it worked then!
So cancel the pending request!
If you are the plugin author, maybe add that instruction in the description of the plugin for future users.
