Hi, I looked in your documentation and couldn’t find any mention of this:

I have a single purchase option and a subscription option. Some users do single and then subscription and some users go straight to the subscription. Both would enroll the user in the same course.

If a user is already enrolled in a course, will they be enrolled again?

Similarly, if an event already exists on Google calendar, will it be created again?

    Hi @samcysqd

I would be more than happy to assist you today.

For both cases, yes, if user is enrolled in a course will get enrolled again and for Google Calendars the same event will be created again.

    Hope it helps!

Wouldn’t it make more sense for the user to not be enrolled again if they’re already enrolled? I haven’t had time to test it but if tutor lms lets it go through (re-enrolls) and it resets everything for the student, that would be bad.

    Hi @samcysqd

You can limit the automation to only occur once per user, that way the user will only be enrolled in a course once. Anyway, the user’s progress would not be reset.

    Best regards.

    Thanks for the reply.

I know I can limit the automation to only occur once; I’ve already got that set. But I have two automations where the action is the same. The trigger for each is different.

Is there a way to do “this trigger” or “this trigger” in the same automation? Or is that not possible right now?

    Hi @samcysqd

You can use a filter so that the action is not fired. Depending on the action you have configured, you can find a filter that meets your needs. For example, if the action is “Enroll in a course” from LearnDash, you can use the filter “User is not enrolled in a course” so that the action will be launched if he is not enrolled, if he is, the action will not be launched.

    Best regards.
