If browser autofills on checkout – paypal button doesn't get enabled

  • If the user gets to the checkout page (latest version of wordpress and woocommerce) – and the browser auto fills in their shipping details. The payment widget doesn’t seem to register anything, and won’t go from “greyed out” to enabled.

    There is no problem when someone manually enters their details, and this bug didn’t exist before.

    I just tried:

    Updated my contact card with my address etc
    In safari, went to checkout as guest. Form empty.
    Performed ‘autofill’ in menu
    After a short timeout (less than a second) the checkout area refreshed/updated as expected.
