If categories used, search doesn’t work anymore

Since last update (3.6) of ProjectsManager search option does not work anymore.
I tried to export/import the poject, this seems to be the solution, but I discovered the category fields are empty. After editing just one record and adding a category the problem is back, removing the category again solves the problem and searching the records is again available.
I just uses Projects for a few weeks, but I am sure that the previous version works well.
