If custom field key echo custom fiel else echo text

  • Hi I sure hope someone can help me.
    I have a custom field named guest_author that I want to have displayed instead of the articles author, if it (the custom field) is used. It would be something like:

    If costumfield -> display guest_author
    else
    display author

    I hope you understand what I’m trying to accomplish.
