If I add a theme will I lose posts?

    If I experiment with different themes on an existing wordpress blog will I lose any of my posts, links, or text above the loop?

    Posts and links? They’ll still be there. They’re theme independent (just like everything else in your database).

    Any text about the loop

    Well, anything you’ve done to tweak the current theme won’t show up on new themes. However, if you change back to the current theme your changes would still be there.
