I was trying to avoid this forum stuff, but I am at a complete loss here, I wish I had one of you WordPress gurus sitting here to help me with this…

My goal is to set up a www.ads-software.com website for my domain, so that I can use a specific Plug-In.

I thought I had successfully installed WordPress (Plesk Hosting through GoDaddy). Finally at the end, I was able to view my [very bare] website https://www.lifestrategieshub.com/wordpress/, and also briefly got into the dashboard (at this point I don’t even remember how, it’s been SO confusing…) https://www.lifestrategieshub.com/wordpress/wp-admin/plugin-install.php?tab=upload.

But now, if I click ANYTHING in my dashboard, it brings me to a page that says “lifestrategieshub.wordpress.com” …https://en.wordpress.com/typo/?subdomain=lifestrategieshub

So, I’m confused as to how I have gotten this far, but am not able to do anything in my dashboard, and the site directs me to register a wordpress.COM blog…..??

I guess I’m just confused as to how to create a .ORG site and customize it…successfully. I’ve been working on this for 8 hours. HELP!!

    https://www.lifestrategieshub.com/ is definitely a self-hosted www.ads-software.com blog.

Did you recently change your domain to point to your new hosting provider?

When a domain is registered or altered, there is a process called propagation, where information about the domain name is passed to internet service providers all over the world. This process can take up to 72 hours (though usually much less). During that time, your domain may go to its old location, and you may also receive a warning message in your browser about “redirect errors.”

If you still have trouble viewing the site after 48 hours have passed, please try clearing your browser’s cache.

If that doesn’t work, try clearing your local DNS cache: https://support.opendns.com/entries/26336865-Clearing-the-DNS-Cache-on-Computers-Servers-and-Web-Browsers
