If I "Update" page, my "Text" tab always switched to "Visual". Please

  • So after I click the “Update” button when editing in text mode, it always switched to visual tab. I prefer not to go to visual tab as it may break some codes. Please help me figure out why this happened and how to solve it. Thank you in advance!

  • Try turning off the Visual Editor – under your User profile there’s an option to do that.

    However, in my other WordPress site, both tabs are still there. If I edited in text mode, it stays there until I click the visual tab. Both sites are running the same theme and same version of WordPress. Is there any settings that affect that?
