    i want to do a 2nd site without the name of the 1st site as part of it.Do I have to just start a new WP account

    No.
    When you say WP account, it could mean
    – how you log in to wordpress.com
    – how you log in to www.ads-software.com
    – how you log in to your 1st self-hosted WordPress site

    These are 3 different things. For the first one, you could get a new site that way, but these forums are not about that. The second one is how you interact with us here and you should only have one account. The third could give you a new site, if you had configured your 1st site as a multisite and use different domain names for each one.
    Or you could just use a new domain name and install another standalone WordPress on it and that is a new self-hosted WordPress account.
