If knews checkbox selected then email format gets broken

  • When a visitor checkes the knews subscription checkbox the email format gets broken: All breaks in email are gone.

    To understand better, plesae see the following example:

    [ ] Knews Newsletter subscription not checked (working fine):

    Email format (example):
    Dear Peter,

    thanks for contacting us.

    Bye
    Site owner

    [x] Knews Newsletter subscription is checked (email format broken):

    Email format (example):
    Dear Peter, thanks for contacting us. Bye Site owner

    Any idea how to fix this issue?
