In my footer widgets I am using the code given “is_user_logged_in()”. It does exactly as it is supposed to do. It only shows when the user is logged in, however when the user is not logged in the default footer text appears

    “Footer Widget 1
Replace this widget content by going to Appearance / Widgets and dragging widgets into Footer Area 1.”

How do I replace that content with my own text? For example, “Please visit our main website at …” or perhaps just display none.

    Thank you.

  • Your theme has a default widget will only appear if no other widgets appear. So add a new widget, just a plain text one, and leave it empty

    Perfect solution!!!! Many thanks!

Hi alanft ! i want to add widgets in sidebar. suppose 2,3 or 4 and want them to show on only post pages for which i use widget context plugin. which done the job partially.

Now i want to show different content for each post according to the the product i have reviewed. And that content should be edited from the post editor interface.

Now problem i am having is, should i search plugins to do that or i should use php-code widget in sidebar and call a php function to load relevant content from each post??

    Please help me??
