I really like the idea behind this plugin. But I just skimmed the terms that are displayed by the plugin and wondered how “If you create a blog/site on the Website, you are responsible for maintaining the security of your account and blog, and you are fully responsible for all activities that occur under the account and any other actions taken in connection with the blog.” is applicable to “almost everybody”? Users on my websites don’t create blogs on my blog/website?

Is it really a smart idea to use this plugin and the terms from Automatic for a generic blog / website / online store?

    Thanks for your help,

    Chris

P.S.: I understand that nobody answering will give laywer answers. I just would like some clarification.

Chris, if your website/blog doesn’t allow users to create blogs or websites, then that clause can be removed.

We’re working on launching a new version of the plugin that would take into consideration this plus many other factors. We’ll launch soon!

Thanks for the quick reply. Removing the section – yes – but then I can’t use the plugin to do so since it’s a manual change.

I am looking forward to the next version of this then. Looking forward to what you come up with. Running over 100.000 sites is huge already!

    Thanks for your work,
    Chris
