• Hmm, let’s just say every developers nightmare happened to me using this otherwise great plugin.
I needed this plugin because its effective at rapid table creation, worked great. Then websites all around the server started getting too many database connections. After some mild eye gouging, moderate hair pulling, and semi destructive not fun times while the situation degraded, we managed to rule it down to this plugin once the offending db was tracked down. I wasn’t given much details so unfortunately do not have logs to provide as of yet ?? And this could be due to some kind of variance in servers and builds. So just be wary on this one peoples and hopefully some info arises to aid in a fix, if i can get a hold of anything, i will update via forums.

    Hi,

I’m terribly sorry you had a negative experience with WP Edit. Do you recall if the issue arose after installing a new plugin or switching themes?

I don’t see why simple table creation would result in too many database connections. Perhaps it’s the content of the tables? Are you using basic html in the tables; or are you using custom php code or shortcodes for the table content?

Any clues/ideas you have, and I’ll be happy to assist in trying to isolate the cause of the issue.
