I am dropping in WordPress through an iframe on this site https://www.thinknowyes.com/ and my issue is with setting the height for the iframe to show, as I have disabled scrolling to give a more seamless look and feel.

My question is whether there is a max height that wordpress posts go until the user must go to “previous entries” and another page of posts. Or can this be set in CSS? I may just be missing something obvious here but please advise any hacks for this.

    Thanks in advance.

I think that is dictated by the number of posts allowed on the frontpage by the blog settings, and that in turn (post length, that is)varies with the number of words and content/images, etc… so, I am going to say no. There is no predictable or preset limit for the height of a WordPress blog unless strictly and systematically controlled by the blog admin. The exception of course would be if the blog frontpage is static. Then of course the dimensions are predictable.

‘Yep… I know. That was no help at all.

Thanks for the info – yeah, that’s what I was thinking exactly, but where does one adjust the number of words per page, or number or posts?

Is there a setting for this?

Setting, Reading, Blog pages show at most ___ posts.

    Change that number, should work.

You can limit the number of words by using the ‘More’ button when editing a post. (Everything below the more button will not be shown unless you click more).

    Or use plugin https://www.ads-software.com/extend/plugins/wp-limit-posts-automatically/
