• I did that evil thing. ?? I went to an Iframe, See?!! It’s so girlie-girlie. Just wanted a change I guess. *shrug* Now I have a few questions, hopefully someone can please help?!
I can’t list the category for a post on the post as it’s linked. Is there a way to list what category a post was put into without it being linked? If not, is there a way to change the link to have it open in a new window? I can then code it for the Iframe. ??
I also can’t figure out where to change the link for the archives. I did email Mt. Dew Virus (Nick) for help as I’m using his archive my-hacks.php code. I would like to have that in the Iframe with the link either pointing to a new window or the Iframe.
Also, since my Iframe is called “index.php” and the blog is now called “indextext.php” is there a way to get the link manager to see my blog? I had to ping Weblogs.com and Blogrolling today to get the Blogrolling links to show up. I’m using link manager just like a lot of people and it didn’t show up on that I guess because of the index.php being the Iframe now. Any thoughts? I will not show updated on link manager at all, it’s just not written that way I guess. If I have people change their link it will show up, but then it points just to the blog, not the entire site. I hope that makes sense.
I also had to take out all the link codes for the blog-stats page as I don’t want to mess with that just yet. I have my hands full right now.
    Thanks in advance! ??

Does anyone have any ideas? I finally put my blog reads in the sidebar pointing to that Iframe. I would like my archives pointing to the Iframe, but I’m not sure how to do the archives link for that.
And all the questions from above ^^^ I’m still stuck on. Thanks in advance!

Just curious – why did you switch to Iframes?
When you send your pings, is your blog url still set as index.php rather than indextext.php? Because strictly speaking index.php is now a static page, so you can’t expect weblogs.com to track changes to it. If that makes sense.

I just wanted something different for a change, Will. thanks for info about the index.php page. I have my blog as indextext.php but, it’s still updating for some reason. I’m leaving that alone. ??
