Ignore query parameters when caching
-
Is it possible for WP Super Cache to ignore URL parameters when caching?
I have 2 scenarios where I would like this…
1) UTM and tracking codes automatically placed on URL’s. I’d like the same page to be served in these scenarios, so…
https://www.oasport.com and https://www.oasport.com/?utm=123456 are served the same page, rather than have to create a new cached version each time
2) Search page – I’m using Google custom search on my search pages, rather than the built in WordPress search. GSE injects the content using JavaScript, so I just want the base page cached and the query parameters ignored, so…
https://www.oasport.com/search/?q=mysearchterm and
https://www.oasport.com/search/?q=hissearchterm serve up the same cached fileCheers
