I am using the WebP options in the plugin with Force WebP and JS WebP Rewriting (to use behind a Cloudfront CDN) and the JS is also rewriting a couple of SVG images I have as attachments.

When I view them in the Media gallery, I see “Unsupported file type” for those SVGs (which is ok, I don’t want to optimize them), but instead of ignoring them when serving, the JS tries to get them as image.svg.webp file from the CDN.

    How can this be solved?

I want to use this plugin, it looks great and really fits my needs, but I can’t if this can’t be solved.

    thank you

We fixed a similar problem with GIF images just recently, so I’ll expand that fix to exclude SVG files in the next release also (coming soon). Thanks for letting us know!
