This plugin needs to add support for bookable products. I spoke with WooCommerce and the case for bookable products is ‘booking’. Add it!

Done! Please update to v1.1 — it adds support for bookable products.

Tried it. Doesn’t work. Bookable products on my archive page are unaffected. They still say “add to cart”.

    (@smallbizgeek)

It also doesn’t change button text on variable products.

    Hi smallbizgeek!

Strange! I’ve tested with WordPress 4.8.1 | WooCommerce 3.1.2 and Storefront theme. Please see screenshots at the following links:

Can you please share your system status report here?

    Thanks!

I’m using a Genesis theme together with WooCommerce.

    That might be why.

Have you tried another plugin, like this one: https://www.ads-software.com/plugins/add-to-cart-button-custom-text/ ?

    Thread Starter smallbizgeek

    (@smallbizgeek)

I’ll try it. It was last updated 3 months ago. I’m not holding my breathe! Thanks for the suggestion. I’ve spent days trying to solve this. Even WooCommerce support have no solutions. ??

    Thread Starter smallbizgeek

    (@smallbizgeek)

None of the archive pages work. Only a single bookings page works. So frustrating!

    Thread Starter smallbizgeek

    (@smallbizgeek)

It looks like you’re using Storefront for the screenshots of your own plugin in action.

I’m using the Genesis Connect plugin to use a Genesis Theme.

    Hi smallbizgeek!

    Thanks for the additional information!

I found another plugin that is Genesis-compatible: https://www.ads-software.com/plugins/connect-genesis-woocommerce/ but, it doesn’t have support for bookable products. I’ll submit a PR to their Github repo to have that included — it’s going to be much easier ??

Will keep you in the loop.

    Cheers!

I’m already using Genesis Connect for WooCommerce: by StudioPress which seems the same if not very similar to the plugin you suggested.

The plugin I have already set up is a delicate balancing act with tons of customisations.

    Thread Starter smallbizgeek

    (@smallbizgeek)

It’s strange, but earlier today I was going through some WooCommerce theme language strings and I was able to change things like “No products in the cart” to “Nothing in the cart”, but the “Add to cart” text wouldn’t change.

I must have an override somewhere in my website configuration which is controlling that theme. I’ve tried both your button text plugin and the other one you suggested and neither of them are having any effect at all on the “Add to cart” button text.

    (@smallbizgeek)

I should like to add also that although this issue seems like an anomaly, I’ve had other issues which turned out to be major WooCommerce bugs which have been addressed in newer iterations of particular extensions.

Prior to WooCommerce 3 I was using the code snippets, since deprecated:
