IGTV Videos Not Cropping

    If you scroll to the bottom of my site, you’ll see that the IGTV video in Instagram Feed is not displaying as a square. The plugin looks very strange because of this. Do ya’ll have a css fix (center crop or something) for this that I can add to my site so that it looks good until the plugin is updated?

    Hey Chantilly,

    Actually our plugin normally doesn’t show IGTV posts since they aren’t available in Instagram’s API quite yet. I’m not seeing a feed on your site currently. Did you remove it perhaps?

    I am reviewing a page created in wordpress version 5.3.2, I use the Smash Balloon Instagram Feed Version 2.1.5 plugin, the problem is that it does not show instagram IGTV videos.

    I want to know if it is possible to watch these IGTV videos with the version of this plugin, or with another version of this plugin, or with another plugin other than this one?

    What should I do?

    Hey opinate,

    IGTV posts are not available in Instagram’s API which is the only legitimate way to display Instagram feeds. So I’m afraid you won’t be able to display these posts on your website using our plugin for now. This may change in the future.

    Is there another plugin that allows me to watch IGTV video from wordpress?

    I’m not sure but I wouldn’t think so as there would be no legitimate way to get this data from Instagram for a plugin to use. If it does ever become available our plugin would definitely support IGTV posts in the feed.
