• Hi all

I just installed WordPress on a server in my office behind our firewall. We have 1-1 NAT setup. When we browse the WordPress site on our local subnet everything shows up just fine. But when we browse it on the Internet using the public IP address, the CSS pages don’t show up. All we get is text.

We have not yet associated a DNS name with this site, but it really shouldn’t matter. After all, DNS names resolve to an IP address.

Any ideas why IIS 7.5 would not serve up the WordPress stylesheets?

    Thanks

I just checked the Settings and I see that the site address is setup as our internal IP address. I changed it to our external address, but of course now it won’t show up internally.

My guess is that I will have to do some jiggery-pokery with DNS and give the site a name in order to take care of this. Is that correct?

    Thanks

    Hi rmcbride,

I have roughly the same problem, did you figure it out and if so can you shed some light? Anyone else out there have similar issues or can provide a solution?

    Thanks,

    Sean
