IK FB: Unable to load feed.

On the Settings Test page, does our feed work, or are both feeds not loading?

Hi Richard

The Plugin feed block is there but my Facebook feed isn’t showing. All it shows is error. Therefore I thought it may be a restriction on my Facebook page but I have checked and there aren’t any.

I have also deleted the App I originally created and started a new one?

Hey Charlotte –

What is the URL of your Facebook Page? It could be that you have the correct App ID and Secret Key (which is implied, if you are able to see our feed in the test page) but have the wrong Page ID (which would explain why you see an error for your feed.)

I did wonder if I had a bad page ID if this is at all possible. Although the feed did originally work.

Not sure if you want the Facebook Page or Plugin Settings so I have emailed you both as an attachment.

It says: IK FB: Unable to load feed.

I checked everything in wp, all is good. Can you give me some hint, what would be the problem. Should I find it at my facebook page… I checked every details in restrictions.
Is this a theme compability problem?

I really like this lug in, but it does not work.
In the test I can see both feed bit it can not load my page…

Hey Andras!

If your App ID, Secret Key, and ID are correct, and if our Feed is loading in the test, then that typically means there is a privacy, age restriction, or country restriction on your facebook page.

An easy test is to try viewing your Facebook Page while not logged into Facebook – if you can, then its permissions are set correctly. If you cannot, then its permissions are not set correctly.

How are you adding the feed to your page? In your comment, it sounds like you are saying that your feed does load correctly on the test page.

If you can provide me with your Page ID, I can try and test on my end to see if there is something up.

I added it with a code (visual composer, a put the code in a text element) not a widget.

On the test page says IK FB can not load it, and in the open website do nothing, just the header shows up, and the like button.

For the FB APP ID and the secret Key I used the profile who created the page. I made an app login with his name and used the keys and ID number. Is it ok?

Another thing, I tried to make an app to find my key, and ID numbe, and it says that I am temporarly blocked … I can not find the reason…
