Illegal string offset error

  • Just started getting this error message on this excellent plugin!

    Warning: Illegal string offset 'jr_insta_square' in /home/www/XXX/wp-content/plugins/instagram-slider-widget/instaram_slider.php on line 630

    My install details are:

    Current PHP version of your server: 5.6.32
    Check: curl_init function found.
    cURL Version: 7.52.1
    Check: Plugin successfully connected to Instagram.com.
    Check: json_decode function found.
    Check: Sample JSON successfully decoded and parsed.

    WP Debug is set to False
