Illegal string offset ‘id’

  • Hi,

    I’m getting this error:
    Warning: Illegal string offset ‘id’ in /home/xxx/domains/xxxxx.com/public_html/wp-content/plugins/soundcloud-is-gold/soundcloud-is-gold-functions.php on line 163

    The plugin isn’t working.

    Please advice.

    This plugin is very old and has not been updated for a long time. Because of this, when SoundCloud changed to a more secure system for allowing apps to connect to their servers, this plugin didn’t change. Now SoundCloud have disabled the way of getting files that SiG uses and it’s broken.
    I plan to see if it’s possible to update the plugin to work with the new SoundCloud API but don’t hold your breath.
