Years ago I had a custom plugin built for my volunteer fire department. It’s worked great, but recently it has been showing an error when saving updates to it. It’s a calendar plugin for scheduling by the way.

    The error reads:
<b>Warning</b>: Illegal string offset ‘id’ in <b>/home1/cfpd/public_html/wp-content/plugins/firefighters_schedule/ffs_admin.php</b> on line <b>583</b><br />

Anybody have any idea what this is or how it could be fixed?

As you just posted your password on a public forum, seen by all, and indexed by Google etc, I recommend changing that ASAP.

As we don’t have access to the plugin files, we really can’t help, I recommend contacting the person who originally did this for you, as they should have a very quick fix.

    James,

Thanks! What a rookie mistake! In this case the access is minor importance as it only gives you access to things like our firefighter schedule, but yeah – that was sloppy of me.

I’ll try and contact the plugin creator. Thanks again!
