I’m getting the following error on a client site every time the customiser is used:

Uncaught Exception: Illegal widget setting ID: nav_menu_item[wcss_GBP] in /home/xxxx.cloudwaysapps.com/xxxx/public_html/wp-includes/customize/class-wp-customize-nav-menu-item-setting.php:171

It doesn’t affect the front end and I can only see this as I get the error emails. IS this a known issue?

Let’s check if there is an error on the WooCommerce Logs. So please, provide us the following:
- System Status: You can find it via WooCommerce > Status. Select “Get system report” and then “Copy for support”. Once you’ve done that, paste it here in your response.
- Error log: share a copy of the fatal error log found under WooCommerce > System Status > Logs (if available)

I’ve removed the logs as I’ll post them in a ticket if I can. I don’t have the client login though.

If you’re contacting WooCommerce.com support on behalf of a client who has purchased the plugin you can have the client add you as a collaborator to their WooCommerce.com account. This will then allow you to contact support on their behalf for any products which they have purchased.

Follow these steps:

1. Go to your database and find wp_terms table.
2. Delete the term_id with the “0” value then the issue will be fixed.
