    This indicated an alipay account partnership error, first of all please make sure your account is not from global.alipay.com.

    Then double check the “Alipay Payment Gateway Type” option, make sure the service you have chosen is enabled in your alipay account.

    When you say “not from” global.alipay.com, what do you mean? That is the only website to get our account from alipay to enable us to accept unionpay and china credit cards through alipay isn’t it?

    I am having this ILLEGAL_PARTNER_EXTERFACE problem too, and there are no resources online in english that is able to help with setting up the alipay in woocommerce properly. It’s really giving me a real headache. I really hope you can help.

    I think I will have to register again at https://www.alipay.com.
    Can we receive USD or SGD through alipay.com? or must we use the global.alipay.com to receive in foreign currencies besides RMB in China?

    Just wondering, will you be updating this plugin, or creating another plugin for global.alipay.com?

    Hi,

    The global alipay is the only way you can receive currencies other than RMB. It is different from the one we use in China ( https://www.alipay.com )and kind of a service for foreign customers only. So the accounts are also separated.

    If you want to use global alipay, you have to purchase a plugin form the official woocommerce site and below is the link
