Illustrator – cannot add

Hello,
I have MBM Multi-Author plugin running. I cannot add an illustrator to new books. The list of illustrators displays on the book edit page, but the checkbox is greyed out and I cannot select it.
Also if I go to the illustrator or cover artist page the title says “Test”.See:
