Illustrator Field

  • I have the recent Pro version of MyBookTable and was glad to finally see an Illustrator field added because I largely deal with children’s books and their creators. Unfortunately, I was hoping the update would function similar to the author list and that the illustrator field would appear next to or below the Author field.

    For many children’s books, the illustrator is not secondary to the author–they are just as important as the author.

    So my two requests are:

    1. Can you make expand the Illustrator field of MyBookTable so that it has an editable list, like the Author field does? Then also add the ability to assign an illustrator within the edit Book area, also like the Author field does now.

    2. Can you move the illustrator field up so that it’s at least just below the author field?

    Hi Tim,

    Is there anyway I can manage moving the illustrator field up below the author field in the various templates? That would serve me well enough until you decide whether you’ll expand the illustrator field with the features I’ve requested.
