Does the plugin offer automatic invoicing after order fulfillment in WooCommerce?

After selling a version of a variable product via de Zettle POS environment, somehow communication between Zettle and Woocommerce seems to fail and product / variant mapping is deleted.

After this, all variants of the product disappear from Zettle and in Woocommerce show up with status:

PayPal Zettle Status column entry in Product overview:

Not synced
<small>Not syncable</small>
<small>- Not purchasable</small>
<small>- No variation attributes</small>

In Woocommerce and website, all product Variants still show up as expected.

A zettle-pos-integration log file is available showing all events.

Hope you can help figuring out what goes wrong here and come up with a quick solution (as current issue renders the POS solution useless).

Hi all! We’re running WooCommerce and PayPal Zettle POS for our physical store and we just recently opened up the web shop tied to the same stock keeping. Everything has been smooth but I would love to have some feedback/suggestions/learnings form any of you running a similar setup.

Our challenge is that out of all products, only about 25% of them are sold online. So, I need to keep 75% of them invisible online (both product page & search), while still syncing with PayPal Zettle.

For search I’m using a simple plugin – Search Exclude, for product pages I use code that looks at categories. In some cases my theme still shows the excluded products under Popular Products and News. Would anyone here use a similar setup and do you have any recommendations for how to approach this?

I’ve seen this being mentioned but I’ve never been able to figure out what is and what should be the default behaviour. Once a simple product has run out of stock it automatically stops syncing, this is not the case when all variations of a variable have run out of stock. What should be the default behaviour?

It would be a nice feature to be able to control this since any potential stock level variance is not accounted for. As an example; you would not be able to scan a positive stock level variance if the system says the product is out of stock (simple product).

Are there any plans to sync Zettle orders with woocommerce?

Hello, I have installed the plugin and everything is running smoothly, the products are synchronized. Unfortunately, I cannot see in the Zettle app that orders have been received via the WooCommerce online-shop. Is this a configuration error from me or is this generally not possible? I would be very grateful for any feedback.

Hey all, I could be wrong here, but I’m pretty sure this line here is processing your cron queue on every single page load.

Now it’s possible that there isn’t always anything meaningful hooked into that cron process on page loads, but if nothing else, Site Health gets worried about this because it results in a perpetually overdue cron job.

And by putting everything into your own abstracted queue logic on a single hook, largely circumventing the WP queue system, it’s hard to use traditional WP Cron tools to debug what this plugin is doing. I don’t love it.

I understand the concern about zombie processes, but that’s what the deactivation hook is for.

Hi. I have tried to update product +++ but it dont work. This is just on 2-3 product, and 40 products are syncing.
I have the log fil if someone can help me. I need this fixes today, since Im going on a triathlon event tomorrow and need this product to work.

We are using PayPal Zettle POS for our online store. It worked fine initially, but now everything has gone wrong. I’m not sure when the issue started affecting our online store. Stock levels are not updating when purchases are made in the physical store. Sometimes, the sale of a single product decreases the stock by -16. We constantly have to manually check, and we can’t keep up.

I read discussions on your site and asked the hosting provider; the issue is not with the firewall. I disabled the plugin, but it didn’t help. I tried changing the plugin to version 1.5.7 and then to 1.5.8, but that didn’t help either. When I manually adjust the stock in Zettle, it does not update the stock in the online store.

Can you help? I am not very experienced with WordPress, so I need detailed instructions. Also, I translated this text using AI, so I hope it is understandable.

Hi there,

I’m experiencing some issues with the inventory updates from Zettle to WooCommerce. For example, when 1 product variation is sold, the same request to update the inventory level is sent multiple times.

I know that conflict with another plugin could potentially cause this, but I have tried conflict testing but it still persists.

• I have changed my theme to ‘Twenty Twenty-Four’
• I have deactivated all plugins except for:
  • PayPal Zettle POS
  • WooCommerce
  • WooCommerce Shipping & Tax
  • WooCommerce.com Update Manager

Below a pasted part of the log file. Product 853 is updated with -1, which is correct. However, it is updated multiple times as you can see. It also tries to update other products with 0, which I also find strange but okay.

Help??

Every so often I get “Not synced – Syncable” errors on (as it seems) random products.

After I do a manual update of the product (without any actual changes, only edit the product and press the update button) the error / notification is gone.

No clue what is causing it (Woocommerce or database update?), but since a simple product update already helps it seems that forcing a resync solves the issue.

Therefore my question: would it be possible to add a ‘manual resync’ featrure to initiate this step for all products? Or if this is already possible, how can this be initiated?

After the plugin updated it disabled itself.

We re-activated it a few days later when we realised, and tallied all the stock.

Since then any sales on the website goes through to Zettle, however sales in Zettle do not adjust the stock levels on the website. I have had to go and manually edit the stock levels on the wordpress of 200+ products tonight

We have been using the zettle plugin for a while but recently the plugin has been causing problems on our site. The plugin causes a 504 gateway timeout. Even if we deactivate all plugins except woocommerce and zettle. Is this a known problem and how can we fix it?

Hi,

I was wondering if there is a way to disable the stock syncs from Zettle -> Woocommerce. We use a WMS that updates the stock of our Woocommerce store automatically. This means that once we made a sale via Zettle POS, the stock in our store is updated twice (Zettle and WMS).

So is there a way to disable the stock sync from Zettle -> WooCommerce, but keep the stock sync WooCommerce -> Zettle working.

It appears that this plugin has been abandoned as it has not been updated in over 5 months and is only compatible to WP6.4.4 – also it is NOT compatible with PHP8+ which for a banking app is pretty bad. PayPal needs to get it’s act together and either remove this product or fix it before there are more hacks into it. I’d post the errors, but there are over 100 code depreciations.

This is to dangerous to keep using.

I keep getting the message: “Not synced – Syncable” on the Zettle status. What can we do?

We have a problem.

We sell multiple type of products which are assembly products, for instance
Ratcatcher contains: baseplate, 3 traps + 6 lures.

Our problem is our stock management.

If we sell one ratcatcher (simple product), it doesn’t reduce the amount of baseplates, traps and lures.

We tried overcome this problem by adding Product Bundles to woocommerce. Seems like Zettle -integration doesn’t work with bundled products.

Need help and all advices are welcome.

I recently installed this plugin, but the initial sync always takes forever. And after some time, the process just freezes. This happens every time I try to set it up or refresh the page. I tried installing the plugin again, but that didn’t work either. If I look at the Zettle catalog after the process froze, there are only about 10 products synced, even after an hour. And the counter you see next to the ‘syncing in progress’ text always goes in the 100,000’s (is that normal?). How can I fix this problem?

All the info for my products (name, price, stock, etc) sync correctly into MyZettle and the ZettleGo app *apart* from the product image. On Zettle, when I open the product, in the image box I get the little circle going round for quite some time and then a little camera icon appears.

I’ve tried JPEG and PNG images on WooCommerce for my product images. I can successfully load these same image files into the products either on MyZettle or the ZettleGo app and they display correctly, it’s just that they will not load from WooCommerce.

With FileZilla I downloaded all of the images files for a product – the one I uploaded (which is 800×800) and the ones created by WordPress (100×100, 150×150, 300×300, 324×324, 416×416 and 768×768) and all of them can be successfully loaded into the product on MyZettle. I don’t know which of these is being downloaded from WooCommerce, there doesn’t seem to be any way to tell.

NB: Not sure if this is relevant but I did find that MyZettle and ZettleGo will not accept JPEG images which have been created by IrfanView with a “Save quality” less than about 90. These also result in the rotating circle followed by the camera icon. However all the images I’ve loaded into WooCommerce now are either JPEGs with save quality 95 or they were PNGs, and all these do load okay into MyZettle etc.

So, what is the PayPal Zettle POS for WooCommerce plugin doing to the image data that gets downloaded to Zettle? I’d be happy to load all product images in MyZettle but whenever any change is made to a product in WooCommerce the image on Zettle gets wiped out and replaced with the little camera icon.

NB: I have cleared the cache etc. I have the BPS Security plugin but its logs show no blocking of access to image URLs. I’m using:

I have a strange problem, where the Start syncing button is passive, and the whole frame is pushed to left, resulting in the admin menu is overlaying the settings of the plugin interface.
I have tried with css to disable the menu (display: none;) but no luck.

I have site that I am about to launch, but there is an issue that keeps happening. I have connected everything including price sync. Suddenly I see the prices not syncing for some reason, without me changing it.

I found out that it happened when I placed orders to test my site. I am currently testing when it is happening by placing test orders and cancelling them.

Does anyone else experience this? This is a bug in the system I need to get fixed, because I cannot constantly go check if the sync is on or not.

So I tested to order and cancel orders, but what seemed to cause it from shutting down price sync was when I changed currency in the shop from SEK to EUR, and placed an item in the cart. Why in the world would your plugin have anything to do with currency changes? The prices in the shop is always in SEK anyway.

I have been uploading new products to the site. Some will sync with Zettle and others will not and it shows that they are “syncable” on the product list.

I do NOT know where to start with this. I have done the exact same thing with this product as the previous one and it synced. I understand it says there is a “constraint violation” but I cannot find where something is different or should be causing these issues.

This is happening on several of my products and I cannot find any issues that would violate the requirements for sync.

Can you please advise what this log is saying is the issue?

I’m trying to sync all my 800 products from the Woocommerce plugin to my Zettle product library, but the synchronization progress seems to be endless. The progress bar is exceeding (650.000 / 650.000).

I’ve cancelled the progress earlier and restarted it. After that canceled it again and reinstalled the plugin but nothing seems to work.

I’ve seen a few other posts where users are asking to take the product SKU and have it set as the barcode for zettle. Unfortunately, the solutions do not seem to be working for me.

I’ve tried adding a simple product to my store and adding a sku (“WALLET_BLK”).

I’ve tried adding both bits of code below using the snippet plugin, but neither seem to work:

The first one:
